On the page Credit > Top-up Credit you top up your Feedbax credit. The key point: you get considerably more credit than you pay for. How much more depends on your plan.
The bonus, tier by tier
Every top-up carries a percentage bonus on top:
Business: 20 percent
Premium: 60 percent
Enterprise: 100 percent
Four fixed amounts are on offer: 100 €, 250 €, 500 € and 900 €. What comes out of them:
100 € gives you 120 € on Business, 160 € on Premium, 200 € on Enterprise.
250 € gives you 300 € on Business, 400 € on Premium, 500 € on Enterprise.
500 € gives you 600 € on Business, 800 € on Premium, 1,000 € on Enterprise.
900 € gives you 1,080 € on Business, 1,440 € on Premium, 1,800 € on Enterprise.
The bonus is booked immediately. There is nothing to apply for and nothing to unlock.
What that means in visibility: a 900 € top-up on Enterprise gives you 1,800 € of credit. At a 150 € monthly budget in top placement that covers a full year of visibility in all the directories your profile appears in.
How to top up
Open Credit > Top-up Credit in the dashboard.
Check the rows "Your Plan" and "Your Top-up Bonus" at the top. They tell you which percentage is applied.
Look at "Your Current Credit" so you know where you are starting from.
Pick one of the four amounts under "Top-up Option".
Check the row "Your Credit After Top-up". It applies the bonus immediately and shows you the result before you pay.
Click "Submit Top-up".
The row in step 5 is the most important check on the page. If it does not show the value you expect, something is off with your plan tier.
How payment works
The payment method stored in your account is charged, exactly the one your subscription runs on. There is no second payment form.
Worth knowing:
This is a one-time top-up. It does not repeat automatically. If you want to top up again, you do it manually later.
Your payment method is charged once, not in instalments.
If you pay by SEPA direct debit, the page also shows the mandate notice. Collection then takes a few banking days.
Why a subscription is required
Without an active subscription there is no top-up button on this page. Instead the "Important Notes" box states that an active subscription is required to top up, with a link to the pricing overview.
That is not an obstacle for its own sake, it is the core of the model: credit is a subscriber benefit. With a plan you get
credit as a gift every year: 200 € on Business, 300 € on Premium, 400 € on Enterprise,
the top-up bonus of 20, 60 or 100 percent,
and as an Enterprise customer another 50 € per month for top placement.
Add that up for Enterprise: 400 € of yearly credit plus 600 € of gifted visibility per year, on top of doubling every top-up. The plan largely pays for itself right here.
When topping up is worth it
Before starting a top placement. The budget can only be saved if your credit is at least as high as the amount you want. If the slider goes above your credit, the page says exactly that. So top up first and set the budget afterwards. See Setting, renewing or changing your budget early.
When you are about to move to a higher plan. The bonus follows the plan that applies at the moment of the top-up. After upgrading to Premium or Enterprise you get considerably more credit for the same amount. It is worth doing the upgrade before the big top-up, not after.
Before a renewal is due. If your top placement runs with automatic renewal, the amount is deducted every month. Make sure enough credit is there, otherwise your visibility breaks off in the middle of a campaign.
How this connects to the Feedbax score
Topping up does not change your Feedbax score. It funds the visibility that produces enquiries, and enquiries turn into projects and reviews. Reviews are the strongest lever in the score, and the score decides your organic position as well as the tie-break in top placement. More on that in How does ranking in the directories work?.

Why do I not see a top-up button?
Because there is no active subscription on the account. The note in the "Important Notes" box links straight to the pricing overview.
Is the bonus credited immediately?
Yes. The row "Your Credit After Top-up" shows you the result including the bonus before you even pay.
Can I choose a custom amount?
No. There are four fixed options: 100 €, 250 €, 500 € and 900 €. You can however top up several times in a row.
Does the top-up repeat every month?
No. Every top-up is a one-off. For another one you come back to this page.
Which payment method is charged?
The one stored in your account, the same as for your subscription. With SEPA direct debit the mandate notice on the page applies as well.
Do I get a bigger bonus if I upgrade first?
Yes. What counts is the plan at the moment of the top-up. Moving from Business to Enterprise raises the bonus from 20 to 100 percent.
Can I have my credit paid out?
No. Credit is only used inside Feedbax, for example for top placement, for bids or as a discount on your subscription.
What happens if my credit is not enough for the budget?
Then the budget cannot be saved. The top placement page reports that the amount you want is higher than your credit.
