The page Company Profile > Social Media links your channels to your Feedbax profile. The hint reads: "Link your social media channels to your company profile and demonstrate your integrity in the marketplace."

The page is unlocked from the Business subscription. On Starter you see the fields, but an overlay with a subscription notice sits on top of them.

The six fields

For every channel you enter the full address of your profile:

  • LinkedIn

  • Facebook

  • Twitter

  • Instagram

  • YouTube

  • TikTok

Then "Save changes".

Important: the channel belongs here. A single YouTube video does not go here but under Company Profile > Company in the YouTube video field. The two fields are not the same and are counted separately.

Why two channels are enough

The Social Media section counts 50 percent per channel entered, capped at 100. In practice that means:

  • no channel: 0 percent

  • one channel: 50 percent

  • two or more channels: 100 percent

The third to sixth channel bring no further progress. The traffic light is red below 50 percent, orange below 100 percent and green only at a full 100 percent.

So if you just want the light green quickly: entering two channels is enough. Take the two you actually maintain.

Which channels make sense

For B2B providers LinkedIn is almost always the most important one. A well-maintained company page there answers questions your Feedbax profile cannot: who works there? How big is the team really? What happened recently?

Only link what you actually use. An Instagram account whose last post is four years old does more harm than good. It is better to leave a channel out than to show a dead one.

Frequently asked questions

I only see an overlay on top of the fields. Why?

The page is unlocked from Business. On Starter you can see the fields but not fill them. An upgrade unlocks them.

Do I have to fill in all six fields?

No. Two are enough for full profile progress. Anything beyond that is a question of presence, not points.

I entered my YouTube channel but no video plays on my profile. Why?

Because those are two different things. The channel link goes here, a playable video goes under Company Profile > Company. That field needs the address of a single video, not a channel link.

Does social media change my Feedbax score?

Not directly. The channels feed in through your profile progress, and profile progress is one of the figures that flow into your rating. You also need at least 50 percent profile progress to be able to apply for project requests.
