The page Company Profile > FAQ contains five fixed questions, each with a text field. It carries the SEO boost badge, because the answers appear as question and answer pairs on your public profile and are easy for search engines to use.

The hint reads: "These typical questions are often asked by clients in pitches. Meet your potential clients and highlight your company by answering these questions in as much detail as possible."

The page is unlocked from the Business subscription. On Starter an overlay covers the fields.

The five questions

  1. What does your company do?

  2. What sets you apart from the competition?

  3. How do you cost your projects in terms of budget, time and scope?

  4. What does your project approach look like?

  5. Who is your typical client?

The questions are fixed. You cannot change them or add your own. Finish with "Save changes".

Why these five and no others

They are exactly the questions that come up in a pitch conversation anyway. Answering them in advance saves the client a meeting and makes you look prepared.

That has two advantages for you: clients for whom it does not fit never get in touch, and those who do arrive better informed.

What belongs in each answer

  • "What does your company do?" Get concrete. Name your disciplines, your size, your markets. Not: "We create digital experiences."

  • "What sets you apart from the competition?" The hardest question and the most important. Verifiable statements beat adjectives. "70 percent of our developers have more than five years of experience" is an answer. "We are passionate" is not.

  • "How do you cost your projects?" Describe the method, not the number. Fixed price or time and materials? Is there a discovery phase? How do you handle changes?

  • "What does your project approach look like?" This is where the way of working, the roles and the rhythm belong. Scrum on a two-week cadence? A fixed contact person? Weekly demos?

  • "Who is your typical client?" Industry, size, maturity. This answer puts words to the percentages you set under Company Profile > Specializations.

Write in full sentences and rather too much than too little. The hint explicitly asks for as much detail as possible.

How this feeds into your profile progress

The FAQ section is the simplest in the whole profile area: five questions at 20 percent each. Answer all five and you are at 100 percent.

The traffic light is red below 50 percent, orange below 100 percent and green only with all five answers. Four out of five is not enough.

An hour's work on a quiet afternoon completes this section entirely, and the text can then be reused in many other places.

Frequently asked questions

I only see an overlay. Why?

The page is unlocked from Business. On Starter you can view it but not fill it in.

Can I add my own questions?

No. The five questions are fixed. The upside: clients compare profiles using the same questions, which makes your answers directly comparable.

How long may an answer be?

There is no visible character limit. Answers of several paragraphs are common and intended. Still, use paragraphs so the text stays readable.

Are the answers translated?

The answers are maintained per language version of your profile, like the other text fields.

Is the "SEO boost" on this page real?

Yes. Question and answer pairs are a format search engines can process well. Your answers sit in the public part of your profile and help your profile be found for matching searches.
