The page Company Profile > Contact for Leads defines how clients reach you. The entries here are visible on your public profile and are used for project requests.

The page has two blocks. The upper one is unlocked from Premium, the lower one is usable on every subscription.

Block 1: individual call to action (including backlink)

From the Premium subscription. On Starter or Business an overlay covers this block.

The hint explains it precisely: "This lets you reprogram the 'Leave a review' button in the header of your company profile and redirect it to a custom web address. You can also change the button label, for example to 'Request a quote now'. This call to action also gives you a backlink to the desired web address."

Two fields:

  • Button URL: where the button leads

  • Button label: what the button says

That turns the most prominent button on your profile into a route into your own sales process. Instead of "Leave a review" it then reads, for example, "Request a quote now", and the click lands on your contact page.

The backlink is the second benefit: a link from your Feedbax profile to your website feeds into your search visibility.

One trade-off worth knowing: the default button collects reviews, and reviews are the strongest lever on your reputation score. Redirecting the button gives up that route. So link to a page where both are possible, or additionally use the feedback badge from the review widgets, which sends visitors to your collection page. See Embedding review widgets on your website.

Block 2: contact for leads

Available on every subscription. The hint reads: "This information and contact data will be visible to clients in your company profile."

The fields:

  • Phone number. Below it the note: "Better to enter a mobile contact number. Clients want to be able to speak to the right contact person directly."

  • Website. The note: "This can be your website or the URL of a web campaign or another landing page."

  • Email. Notifications about new project requests go here.

  • Contact person. The name of the person who receives requests.

  • Contact person photo. Allowed formats are jpg, jpeg, jfif, png and gif.

Finish with "Save changes".

Why the website matters especially here

The website field is not just contact information. It appears as a hard condition in four places:

  1. Profile approval. Without a website your profile is not approved automatically. See What your profile needs for approval.

  2. Top company badge. One of the five conditions is a saved website.

  3. Market leaders matrix. Without a website you are not listed there.

  4. Applying for a project request. The application wizard checks: "Website saved in profile." If it is missing, the application is blocked.

That is a single field deciding four things at once. Check it first.

Why the email decides whether you see requests

Matching project requests are sent to the email in this block. If a personal address is stored there and that person is on holiday, the application deadline passes unused.

A shared mailbox such as [email protected] read by several people is therefore almost always the better choice. Whether you receive these emails at all is additionally controlled under Notifications, see Setting your email notifications.

How this feeds into your profile progress

The Contact for Leads section splits into five fields at 20 percent each: phone number, contact person, photo, email and website.

The traffic light is red below 50 percent, orange below 100 percent and green only with all five fields. The call to action does not count here, it is a pure Premium extra.

The most commonly missing field is the contact person photo. It is also the one with the largest effect on the reader: a face next to a phone number lowers the barrier to actually calling.

Frequently asked questions

I only see a subscription notice on the call to action. Why?

That block is unlocked from Premium. The lower block, Contact for Leads, remains usable on every subscription.

Is the phone number here the same as the one under Locations?

No. Under Locations sits the number of the respective office. Here sits the number for project requests. Both appear at different points of your profile. Enter both.

Can I enter a campaign landing page instead of the website?

Yes, the hint explicitly allows it. Bear in mind, though, that the same address is used when your website expertise is assessed during applications. A landing page without references is less suited to that than your regular website.

We do not want to publish a phone number. Is that possible?

Technically yes, but it costs you 20 percent in this section, and some clients prefer calling to writing. A central company number is a good compromise.

Do search engines count the backlink?

According to the hint, the call to action creates a backlink to the address you enter. A link from a well-maintained profile to your website is generally a positive signal.
