The page Company Profile > Company holds the basic data about your business. It sits at the very top of your public profile, appears in search and in the provider directories, and decides whether you show up in filters at all.

The page is fully usable on every subscription, including Starter.

The fields from top to bottom

  • Logo. Allowed formats are jpg, jpeg, jfif, png and gif. The logo carries an SEO boost label in the interface. Without a logo your profile is not approved automatically, see What your profile needs for approval.

  • Header. The wide image at the top of your profile. The target size is 1370 x 350 pixels. Stick to it or the image gets cropped. Keep important content in the centre.

  • Company name. The name you appear under on Feedbax.

  • Slogan. At most 75 characters. A counter below the field shows the state, for example "30 / 75". The slogan sits right below your name and is often the first thing a client reads. Say what you do and for whom, not "we think the future".

  • Minimum budget. The project size you work from. The options are > €1,000, > €5,000, > €10,000, > €25,000, > €50,000 and > €100,000.

  • Hourly rate. Also carries the SEO boost label. The bands are < €25, €25 to €49, €50 to €74, €75 to €99, €100 to €149, €150 to €199 and > €200.

  • Company size. From 1 through 2-10, 11-50, 51-200, 201-500, 501-1,000, 1,001-5,000 and 5,001-10,000 up to > 10,000 employees.

  • Founding year. A single year.

  • Spoken languages. A multiple choice from a long list. This field is checked on every application.

  • YouTube video. The hint is explicit: "Please enter the URL of a single YouTube video and not that of your YouTube channel." A channel link does not work here. You enter the channel under Social Media.

  • Company description. The long text about you. Without a description in at least one language your profile is not approved automatically.

Finish with "Save changes".

Why "spoken languages" matters more than it looks

When you apply for a project request, the application wizard automatically checks in the first step whether your team speaks at least one of the languages specified by the client. If the field is empty or wrong, that check fails and the application is blocked.

So enter every language you can genuinely run projects in. No more, but no fewer either.

Minimum budget and hourly rate are filters, not a price list

Clients filter the directories on exactly these two entries. Set the minimum budget too high and you disappear from the results for smaller requests. Set it too low and you get requests that do not pay.

The entries are ranges, not binding prices. You still negotiate freely.

How this page feeds into your profile progress

The Company section consists of ten fields at 10 percent each: name, slogan, founding year, header, YouTube video, company description, logo, minimum budget, hourly rate and company size.

That explains the most common case on the dashboard home page: 80 or 90 percent instead of 100. Almost always the YouTube video is missing, less often the header image. Both are single fields with full weight.

The traffic light for this section is red below 40 percent, orange below 80 percent and green only above that.

Frequently asked questions

My header image is cut off at the top and bottom. What now?

The image is fitted to the 1370 by 350 aspect ratio. A square or portrait image loses a lot in the process. Crop it to 1370 x 350 pixels yourself before uploading, then you see exactly what remains visible.

I have a YouTube channel but no single video. What do I enter?

Pick the video that explains your company best, for example a company introduction or a project reference. A channel link is not accepted here. You enter the channel under Company Profile > Social Media.

Can I maintain the company description in several languages?

Yes. Feedbax runs your profile in several languages. For automatic approval a description in at least one language is enough.

Does my public profile change immediately?

The change is visible in the profile once saved. The Feedbax score, however, is not recalculated immediately but at fixed intervals. See How often is my Feedbax score updated?
