You do not have to write a review in one go. Feedbax saves every entry in all seven steps automatically, and you can stop at any time. This article shows how you get back to your draft, on which device that works and where you continue.
At a glance

How it works
Feedbax saves as soon as you pause briefly while typing, and at the latest when you move to the next step. On larger screens the header shows the status: "Saving", then "Saved automatically". If saving fails once, it says "Not saved, retrying soon", and the next change or the next step tries again. On a smartphone the indicator is hidden, but saving still happens.
How Feedbax recognizes your draft depends on how you started:
Started without signing in: Feedbax stores a cookie for this provider in your browser. It is valid for 30 days. Until Feedbax knows your email address, only this browser can find the draft again.
Started via an invitation: the link from the invitation email is your key. It opens the draft on any device.
Started while signed in: the draft belongs to your Feedbax account from the start and appears under "My reviews".
Feedbax knows your email address as soon as you click "Send link" in step 7, or from the start if the provider invited you. From then on the draft belongs to the Feedbax account with this address. How the dashboard is structured is described in Client dashboard: the overview.
Stopping
Click "Continue later" at the top right.
Feedbax saves anything still pending and takes you back to the page you came from, for example the provider's profile or your dashboard. If you did not come from such a page, you land on the provider's profile.
Simply closing the tab also works. However, the last words you typed immediately before may then be missing. "Continue later" saves everything still pending first.
An answer that you typed in the conversation but have not sent yet stays in the input field when you switch between steps. It is only saved with "Send".
Continuing to write
In the same browser
Open the provider's profile and click "Review this provider" in the "Reviews" section, or open the provider's review page directly.
Feedbax recognizes your draft and opens it instead of starting a new one.
This works for 30 days, as long as you do not delete your browser's cookies and do not use a private window.
Via an invitation
Open the link from the invitation email again, on any device. It always leads to the same draft, even after the 60 days have passed if you started the review before. If you worked on another device in between, use the link from the email on the first device again too.
Via your dashboard
Sign in to Feedbax.
Open "My reviews".
Click the entry with the status "Draft". It says "You already started. Pick it up whenever it suits you."
Click "Continue writing".
This works as soon as the draft belongs to your account. On another device, therefore, do not start via "Review this provider" on the profile: there the browser does not know your draft and starts a new one. Take the route via "My reviews".
Where you continue
A draft opens where something is still missing, never on the start page again:

If you have already requested the confirmation link, the page shows the status of your review instead. What happens then is described in Confirm and approve your review.
Opening a sent review again
After "Send link", the text can no longer be changed on the review page. If your review shows "Waiting for your approval" or "Returned" in "My reviews", the "Edit" button takes it back into the draft and opens the review page. After that you request a new link in step 7 and approve the review again. No changes are possible during the Feedbax check, see After approval: the Feedbax check. If the draft does not open
"This page does not exist": you opened the address of the draft in another browser without being signed in. The address alone does not open a draft. Feedbax shows the same page for other people's drafts and unknown drafts, so that nobody learns which drafts exist. Sign in with the address the draft belongs to, or use the link from the invitation.
"Your review cannot be opened": reload the page. If that does not help, open the link from your email again.
Cookies deleted, private window or more than 30 days passed: the draft is not deleted, but this browser can no longer find it. If Feedbax did not yet know your email address, start the review again.
Frequently asked questions
How long does my draft stay saved?
Feedbax does not delete reviews you have started. Without signing in and without an invitation, your browser finds the draft again for 30 days. If it belongs to your account, you find it permanently under "My reviews".
Can I continue on my smartphone what I started on my laptop?
Yes, if you started via an invitation or the draft belongs to your account. Then open the link from the invitation or "My reviews". If you started without signing in and without an invitation, this only works in the original browser.
I have two drafts for the same provider.
This happens if you start again via the profile on a second device. Finish one of the two. A draft that you do not send and approve is never published.
Do I have to be signed in to continue writing?
No. In the same browser and via the link from an invitation it works without signing in. Only the route via "My reviews" requires signing in. The account is free.
Can someone else open my draft?
No. The draft can only be opened by the browser in which you started it, the link from your invitation or your Feedbax account. More on protecting your data in Confidentiality: who sees your data
