After your approval, the Feedbax team checks every review before it goes live. This is one of the reasons why Feedbax reviews are meaningful. This article shows what happens in the check, how long it takes, what you do if Feedbax returns your review, and where it appears afterwards.

At a glance

  • Status: "In review" under "My reviews", with the date of your approval.

  • Duration: up to three working days.

  • Two outcomes: published, or returned with a note from the team.

  • Returned: You receive an email with the note, revise the review and approve it again.

  • Published: The review appears on the provider's profile, without an AI label.

  • During the check: the review cannot be changed.

How it works

With your approval, the review goes to the Feedbax team. The team sees your text together with the hints from the automatic content check, for example about very general sections, hurtful words, the name of another provider, repetitions or sentences that are not backed by your answers in the conversation. Nothing is rejected automatically. The team decides itself. The rules on who may write a review are in Who may review a provider?

The check can take up to three working days. If anything is missing, the Feedbax team will get in touch with you.

The statuses of your review

Under "My reviews" in your dashboard you can see at any time where your review stands. The dashboard itself is explained in Client dashboard: the overview.

When your review is published

  • It appears on the provider's profile in the "Reviews" section, see Where will my review appear?

  • Readers see your stars, the headline, the summary, your sections and the project details. They see your name and company as you chose under "How you appear".

  • The review carries no AI label. Only you saw "Written with AI" in the draft.

  • Feedbax automatically translates the review for the other language versions of the profile.

  • Your stars feed into the provider's averages and into their Feedbax Score, which helps decide their ranking in the directories.

  • Providers with a Feedbax subscription are notified of the new review. With the right subscription, they can reply to it publicly. The reply then appears below your review.

  • Under "My reviews" it says "Published" with the date, plus "Open profile".

Feedbax does not currently send a separate email about publication. You can see the status under "My reviews".

When Feedbax returns your review

If the review needs a change, the team returns it with a note. You receive an email with the note under "Our note" and the "Revise review" button.

  1. Click "Revise review" in the email, or open "My reviews". There the review has the status "Returned", with the note under "Note from Feedbax".

  2. Click "Edit". The review page opens with your draft, as described in Continue a review later.

  3. Adjust the review.

  4. In step 7, request a new confirmation link with "Send link".

  5. Approve the review again in the dashboard with both confirmations, as described in Confirm and approve your review.

  6. The team checks it once more.

After publication

You can no longer change a published review yourself. How to request a correction is explained in Can I change my review later?
