Reviews → Feedbax Overview holds your own Feedbax reviews. These are not the ratings Feedbax fetches from Google, Trustpilot or Clutch. These are the detailed customer references Feedbax collected for you.
The difference matters, because it pays off directly in the ranking: a Feedbax review counts eight times as much towards your reputation score as an imported one. More on that below.
How to fetch ratings from other portals is in Integrating reviews from other portals.
When the page is still empty
If you have no Feedbax review yet, the page shows a note instead of the cards: "Collection of high-quality customer referrals". Below it sits the button "Collect reviews". It takes you straight to the Phone collection page, where you submit a project reference.
Feedbax takes over from there: we call your customer, run the interview and write the review. How that works in detail is in The phone collection page: submitting a project reference.
The review card
Every review sits on its own card, split into three columns.
Left: project and ratings
At the top the hard project facts, each with an icon and a tooltip:
Services: which of your services the project involved.
Cost Range: the budget bracket the project sat in.
Project Duration: how long it ran.
Below that the scores. At the very top the Overall Rating as a number with stars, then four individual scores:
Quality: quality of the deliverables.
Planning: project planning.
Costs: price-performance ratio.
Recommendation: how likely the customer is to recommend you.
Middle: summary and your comment
The middle column holds the Summary of the review, with the submission date beside it. If the review has no summary of its own, you see the answer to what impressed the customer most about the collaboration instead.
Below that comes your comment field, as soon as the review is approved.
Right: who wrote the review
Reviewer: first and last name, or "Anonymous" if the customer did not want their name shown.
Position and company of the reviewer.
Industry, company size and location of the customer.
Verified, if Feedbax checked the person.
Phone Review or Online Feedback: whether the customer was interviewed or submitted the review online themselves.
At the bottom the approval status.
The approval status
Every card carries a coloured badge at the bottom right:
Approved (green): the review is published and visible in your public profile.
Awaiting Approval (yellow): the review is still with us for review.
The tooltip says it plainly: only approved reviews will be published.
That is more than a formality. Only approved Feedbax reviews feed into your reputation score. A review waiting for approval is not yet there for your ranking.
"Read Full Feedback"
The summary is only the beginning. The button "Read Full Feedback" opens a large dialog with the complete interview. It holds the answers to every question the customer was asked:
What does your company do and what is your area of responsibility?
What were the project goals?
Why did you select this service provider over others?
Please describe the provider's project approach.
How many project team members were involved? What roles did they have in the project?
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Did they deliver on time? How did they respond to your needs?
What impressed you the most about the collaboration?
What areas can the service provider improve upon?
Some reviews additionally carry the blocks Challenge, Solution and Results.
Read these answers properly. They are the best raw material for your own case studies and for the arguments that win your next application.
Replying to a review
Under every approved review you find the field "Your Comment". What you write here appears publicly under the review, with the line "Comment by" and your company name.
Write your text in the field.
Click "Publish Comment".
If a comment is already there, the button reads "Update Comment" instead.
It is worth commenting on every review. A thank you reads well, and with criticism you show future customers how you handle criticism. That often reads better than the criticism itself.
Commenting needs Business or higher
Without an active plan the comment field is visible but locked. Above the lock it says: "With this feature you can thank for the feedback you received or comment on it."
From the Business plan onwards the field is free. But Business brings considerably more than commenting: applying to project requests, access to public tenders, 200 € of credit per year, the integration of Trustpilot, ProvenExpert and TrustedShops, plus social media, FAQ and awards in your profile. What each tier contains is in What subscriptions does Feedbax offer for providers?.
What Feedbax reviews mean for your score
This is where the real value of this page sits. The reputation score counts Feedbax reviews and imported reviews separately and weights them differently:
Inside the calculation a Feedbax review counts fourfold, an imported one once.
The Feedbax total then enters the score tenfold, the imported total only fivefold.
All in all a Feedbax review therefore weighs eight times as much as an imported one. Five Feedbax reviews replace forty imported ones, mathematically speaking.
Three more rules are worth knowing:
Only approved Feedbax reviews count. Anything awaiting approval has no effect yet.
Age counts. Every review loses weight over time. A review from the current year weighs twice as much as one twelve months old. Collecting regularly beats collecting once.
No review at all costs 50 points. If your profile has neither its own nor imported reviews, the score deducts 50 points.
How the score affects your position in the directories is in The market leaders page in the dashboard: reading your potentials.
How to get more Feedbax reviews
There are two routes:
Phone collection. You submit a project reference, we interview your customer. How many are included depends on the tier: Business 1, Premium 3, Enterprise 6 per year. You can buy more, and the higher the plan the cheaper each one: 149 € on Business, 129 € on Premium, 99 € on Enterprise.
Online feedback. Your customer submits the review online themselves.
Frequently asked questions
Why do I see a review that is not in my profile yet?
Because it is still Awaiting Approval. You see it in the dashboard, it is not public yet, and it does not feed into the score yet.
Can I delete or change a review?
No. The review belongs to your customer. You can comment on it, nothing more. That is exactly what makes it credible to readers.
Why do some reviewers show as "Anonymous"?
Because the customer did not want their name shown. Position, company, industry and location stay visible, so the review loses almost none of its value.
Does an anonymous review count less towards the score?
No. Whether the name is visible makes no difference to the calculation.
What does "Verified" mean?
That Feedbax checked the person behind the review.
My comment field is greyed out. Why?
You have no active Business plan or higher. The review stays visible, only replying is locked.
I commented but cannot see the comment in my profile.
Check whether you clicked "Publish Comment". Only the click saves the text.
