The page Company Profile > Team has only two fields, but it counts fully towards your profile progress and is clearly visible on your public profile.

The hint reads: "Introduce your team and go into the exciting history of your company."

The page is usable on every subscription, including Starter.

The two fields

  • Team photo. Allowed formats are jpg, jpeg, jfif, png and gif. A real photo of your team, not a stock image.

  • Team description. A running text about you: who you are, how you work, where you come from.

Then "Save changes".

How this feeds into your profile progress

The Team section consists of exactly two parts at 50 percent each: the team photo and the team description. There are therefore only three possible values here: 0, 50 or 100 percent.

Team has no row of its own in the "Quality of your profile" table on the dashboard home page. The section still counts towards your overall profile progress. So if you wonder why your progress is below 100 percent although every visible row is green, the team photo is usually the reason.

Profile progress is not an end in itself: to apply for a project request you need at least 50 percent.

What belongs in a good team description

Clients read this section when they are close to a decision. They want to know who they will be dealing with. Three things are worth writing:

  • How many people and in which roles. "Twelve people: four developers, two designers, one project lead" says more than "a strong team".

  • Where you come from. Two sentences of founding story make you tangible.

  • How you work together. A fixed contact person? Weekly demos? That answers the question the client actually has.

Avoid strings of adjectives. "Dynamic, innovative, passionate" is on every second website and adds nothing.

The difference from the company description

The company description under Company describes what you offer. The team description here describes who you are. Do not copy one text into the other field: both appear at different points of your profile and the repetition is noticeable.

Frequently asked questions

We work remotely and have no group photo. What can we use?

A composite of individual portraits works well and often feels more honest than a staged group shot. What matters is that real faces from your team are visible.

Is the team description maintained in several languages?

Yes, like the other text fields of your profile. Feedbax shows it in the matching language version of your profile.

Does the team photo count for profile approval?

No. Automatic approval counts the logo, contact email, leads email, website, at least one service and a company description. See What your profile needs for approval. For profile progress, however, the team photo very much counts.
