The verified badge confirms that your company has been checked by Feedbax and is listed as a legitimate provider. It is not about your reviews, it is about your authenticity.
You will find it in the dashboard under Marketing > Verified Company Badges.
The difference to the top rated badge
The two badges answer two different questions, which is why it pays to show both:
The verified badge answers: *does this company really exist?* It depends on the profile check.
The top rated badge answers: *is this company any good?* It depends on 10 reviews at 4.5 stars or better. See Unlocking and using the top rated badge.
For a prospect who does not know you, the first question comes first. The verified badge is therefore the badge you can get earliest: it needs no reviews at all.
When it is unlocked
The badge becomes available as soon as Feedbax has checked your company profile and confirmed it as verified. The precondition is a well maintained profile.
If your profile is not approved yet, the page shows "Badges not Available" and the badge images are missing.
That approval is the same one that makes your profile visible in the directories in the first place. Which fields have to be filled and how the check runs is explained in detail in What your profile needs for approval.
How to use it
The page holds four language versions: English ("Verified Company"), German ("Verifizierter Anbieter"), Dutch ("Geverifieerd bedrijf") and French ("Prestataire vérifié"). Below each image there is a "Download Badge" button.
Download the version in your website's language.
Upload the image to your website.
Link it to your Feedbax profile. Without a link it is just a graphic. With a link it becomes independent proof that anyone can verify in two seconds.
The badge works hardest where someone meets you for the first time and is still sceptical: in the footer, on the about page and right next to the contact form.
What to use it for
The note in the dashboard names three purposes, and they capture it well:
Show trustworthiness without having to talk about it yourself.
Stand out from unverified providers. That is exactly where the value sits: if everyone had the badge, it would be worth nothing.
Get more contact enquiries, because visible credibility lowers the barrier.
The badge is an image, not a widget
Like the top rated badge, this one is a downloaded image file. It does not update and shows no numbers. The 100 score points only come from a review widget embedded through code, see Embedding review widgets.
How this connects to the Feedbax score
This is worth a close look, because the connection is stronger than with the top rated badge.
The badge itself brings no points. But the approval it hangs on is a hard score factor: a profile without approval has 100 points deducted. So as long as your profile is not approved, you are working against a deficit that no review makes up for.
On top of that: without approval you are not listed in the directories at all and receive no project requests. The verified badge is therefore less a goal in itself than a visible sign that the most important prerequisite is met.

How long does the check take?
It runs automatically as soon as your profile is complete. If anything looks unusual, the Feedbax team looks at the profile by hand.

Can I show both badges at once?
Yes, and it makes sense to. They answer different questions: authenticity and quality.
Does the badge earn me score points?
The badge does not. The approval behind it does: without it your score is missing 100 points.
